I feel that I have always been an artist; just a different kind of artist at different times of my life.

As a child, I enjoyed drawing but never thought I was good enough to pursue that interest. As I got older, I enjoyed drawing but found various arts & crafts to be more practical pursuits. I have always loved crafting hand-made gifts and spent any free time knitting, crocheting, sewing, and making stained glass. Although these pursuits often included drawing, and even painting, I began painting, as a serious hobby, just a few years ago when I learned about fluid art and its fun and freeing nature.

I am an abstract and impressionistic artist whose passion is creating art through the exploration of colors, textures, and techniques using various mediums. My earliest creations were acrylic fluid paintings on canvas. Recently, I began exploring alcohol ink painting on objects as well as encaustic (hot wax) mixed media works. I love trying new art techniques as well as incorporating various techniques in my artwork.
